Finally got back into the work of performing last week by playing in a Masterclass with Jovanni-Rey V. de Pedro... was great fun!
After an amazing couple of years in Germany, I am now back in Perth in order to do my Honours at WAAPA in 2016. I am really looking forward to getting back into practice and am hoping to develop my accompanying skills over the next year.
I just returned from a short trip to Cologne to see Nils Frahm in concert at the Kölner Philharmonie. All I can say is, if you ever get the chance to see him, do it!! Without a doubt one of the best concerts I have seen... What an incredible musician and such an amazing combination of pianos and electronics... And saxophone quartet... And toilet brushes...  Since arriving in Berlin I have spent time exploring other German cities. A major highlight so far was visiting Robert and Clara Schumman's house in Leipzig and having the chance to play Clara Schumann's piano. It had a very interesting sound!
